Ningbo EMI High Tech Materials started in 2005 and since its establishment, the company has been committed to providing customized chemical product and system solutions for our clients. We started out as marine chemicals agent for the brand UNITOR. With more than 3300 service ports across the globe, we were able to provide a comprehensive range of product and services for our clients no matter where they were.
During this period, we also started our R&D facility in China and started engineering products and formulas for other clients with specific needs and in 2012, we successfully developed an external based coating for trains and carriages. Our products were used extensively on all rail transit vehicles pertaining to the Ningbo Rail Transit Line 2 Vehicle Project as well as the CRRC NB TRO Trolley Car Project.
Between 2013 to 2016, our company successfully tendered and completed the supply and service support for anti-corrosive paint pertaining to 2 nuclear-powered plants, namely the Fangjiashan Project and the Haninan Changjiang Project. These 2 projects were part of the many nuclear-powered plants under the China Nuclear Industry 23 Co. Ltd. Our coatings solution system was selected out of a field of other international brands like PPG, Berger, IP, etc. The products were selected and used on all non-nuclear steel structures in the entire plant.
After more than 10 years of consistent R&D, our company has expanded our product lines to include the following: environmentallyfriendly cleaning agents, aerogel slurry and thermal insulation coatings, epoxy resins and curing agents, external rail transit coatings and heavy-duty anti-corrosive coatings. At the same time, through our R&D, we have also developed a new line of special engineering plastics as follows: polyether sulfone PES ultrafine powder, polyetherimide PEI ultrafine powder, polyether ether ketone PEEK and PEKK ultrafine powder, and polyphenylene sulfide PPS ultrafine powder. We also offer a range of raw materials, finished products and solutions relating to the customized needs of our clients.
